Commissions

To complement our standard range of sizes and colour combinations we also offer a commissioning service, whereby our customers can have designs made specially to suit their own particular requirements.

Since Lisbeth's passing in 2023, Sally Mulcahy, Lisbeth’s daughter, has taken over the designing and weaving of all our Tapestry Commissions. Sally studied Tapestry Weaving under the tutelage of her mother and over the years assisted Lisbeth in weaving large multi panel commissioned tapestries for government departments such as The Department of Foreign Affairs and The Department of Housing. Sally weaves in the same method and yarns as Lisbeth did, while also developing her own distinct personality and style.

Commissioned wall hangings are handwoven and can be made in a range of sizes. The max being either 145cm wide by any height or 145cm in height by any width. The 145cm dimension being dependent on the width of our largest loom. Larger scale works can also be made as multi-panel pieces.
